Teaching

Connecting theory, computation, and real-world transportation problems.

01

Teaching Philosophy

I believe engineering education should connect theoretical knowledge with practical problem-solving. My teaching approach emphasizes hands-on learning, computational thinking, and real-world applications, helping students understand how transportation systems work and how engineering methods can be used to analyze and improve them.

I enjoy making complex technical concepts accessible through clear explanations, interactive demonstrations, and practical exercises. My goal is to encourage students to think critically, explore different solutions, and develop the confidence to apply engineering knowledge beyond the classroom.

Course Development & Instruction

CEE 4226

Transportation System Design

VISSIM Course Project Development | Villanova University

Developed a VISSIM-based traffic microsimulation project using the real-world road network surrounding Villanova University. The project integrates network coding, traffic simulation, and transportation system analysis into a hands-on learning experience and continues to be used in CEE 4226.

I also supported course material development and led a VISSIM lab session, guiding students through model setup, simulation, and troubleshooting.
